Cooke Store Fixtures is a locally owned supplier to the retail and commercial sector. From the smallest corner kiosk to the larger local businesses, we have products that display their merchandise. In addition to offering a wide array of stock merchandising aids and display equipment, we provide complete store fixturing or standalone displays, we have partnered with clients big and small to create beautiful and effective store interiors. We have 65 years of helping businesses create the right atmosphere & strategically planned floorspace!
We are looking for a Store Manager. The ideal candidate would be a mature person who is looking for the ideal work/personal life balance.
Job duties will include but not limited to:
- Work closely with the President and Vice President to establish sales goals for the store sales and web sales
- Provide day to day direction to other team members to assist customers on front desk, emails, web and phone
- Provided exceptional customer service with specific product knowledge and a proactive attitude towards qualifying customer needs and providing optimal solutions.
- Supervise and train store and warehouse staff
- Provide quotations for custom products to small and large businesses throughout Atlantic Canada
- Work with a small team in maintaining the presentation of the sales floor and keeping merchandise organized and fully stocked to support sales
Requirements:
- Experience and knowledge in understanding the day to day running of a small business
- Ability to lead a small team of employees, train them to succeed and hold them accountable for work ethic, performance and company standards
- Previous customer service/sales experience is required
- Self-starter with strong ability to perform in a multi-task environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team is a necessity
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
