Barista/Cafe All-Rounder [Australia]

 

We are seeking an experienced and skilled barista/all-rounder to join our team in a small but fast-paced café environment. The ideal candidate should have a good knowledge of all thing’s coffee and service. Friendly customer service skills, be able to multitask efficiently, and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and serving a variety of coffee, teas, and other beverages.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Preparing and serving food items, such as pastries and sandwiches.
• Restocking inventory, such as coffee beans, cups, and syrups.
• Following health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 6 months of work behind a coffee machine.
• Knowledge of different coffee-making techniques and beverage knowledge.
• Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic cash handling experience and experience using POS systems
• Covid & flu vaccination, police check
