IRC223472 – ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ACCOUNTANTAt Eni, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant within Eni Mexico in Mexico City. You will be responsible for performing accounts payable and contract pricing verification functions. Also, preparing, processing and reconciliating of corporate account receivables, fixed assets, and the amortization of pre-paid expenses. Additional responsibilities involve management and reporting of affiliate transactions.
As a member of the finance team at Eni Mexico you will be responsible for:
- Posting invoices with supporting documents.
- Reviewing and processing affiliate billings monthly.
- Reviewing affiliate invoices denominated in foreign currency (i.e., peso, Euro, USD, etc.) to ensure proper recording of foreign exchange loss/gain.
- Monitoring the recording of affiliate cash payments and collection of affiliate accounts receivable.
- Monitoring the contract and purchase order invoice pricing verification.
- Preparing weekly reports for the Finance & Control Manager to communicate AP issues.
- Supervising the records filing and retention.
- Overseeing the preparation of tax forms for all qualified vendors.
- Performing special projects on an as needed basis.
- Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of English
- Experience in the oil and gas industry, specifically in exploration and production.
- Strong understanding of information technology and computer applications.
- Experience with all aspects of accounts payable and affiliate receivable transactions.
- Experience regarding contract and purchase order pricing verification.
- Strong understanding of intercompany and affiliate company transactions.
Location:
Mexico City. Administrative activities in the office.
